Delhi Daredevils: Team can be a surprise package in the tournament

Delhi Daredevils: One of the founding teams of Indian Premier League which started in 2008 was won by GMR group for $84 million. The team’s home ground is the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground and from 2013, they included Raipur International Cricket Stadium as their secondary home venue.

Former Indian pace bowler Zaheer Khan will lead the side this year. Daredevils have a well-balanced side with players like Carlos Brathwaite, Quinton de Kock, Jean-Paul Duminy, Pawan Negi and many others. The team has inducted Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid as their new mentor and Paddy Upton as head coach.

In first two editions, Daredevils went to the knockout stages and lost in semis under Virender Sehwag. The batting of the team will be revolve around JP Duminy, Quinton de Kock, Shreyas Iyer and Mayank Agarwal. The team will heavily depend on skipper Zaheer Khan, Mohammed Shami, Amit Mishra, Pawan Negi. The team have all-rounders including Carlos Brathwaite, Chris Morris, Pawan Negi to turn the match in favour of the team.

The team has a very good chance to qualify for the playoffs if they play to their potential.
