However, denying the same in an interview with Filmfare, Anushka had stated, ''If you’re married then people ask, 'Is she pregnant?' They love to read into something when there really isn’t anything.It’s so hard for people to believe that someone would like to take time off to be rejuvenated. I want to feel creatively charged.''
As per reports, the actress may step into the shoes of Jhulan Goswami, former Indian captain of women’s cricket team. Jhulan won the ICC Women's Player of the Year 2007 and the M.A. Chidambaram trophy for Best Women Cricketer in 2011
Anushka is also producing a series for Netflix. Speaking about her choice of roles in the future, Anushka had told Hindustan Times, ''The best situation for me to be in — as an actor as well as the audience — would be to watch a film which is entertaining but it must also leave some thoughts — in a very subtle manner — in your mind to ponder over.''
