Indian –origin Shree Saini contesting Miss World America Pageant 2019 suffered a terrible mishap after she ‘collapsed’ before the final gala night took off with the evening gown round. Shree was then rushed to the ICU. A message being circulated in various media groups reads, "Indian - American Miss India USA *Shree Saini* got injured during Miss World America competition..She fell down during competition....She is in ICU Now....pray for her".
Pictures of paramedics treating the actress are also doing the rounds. Shree is a Punjab-born Indo-America who has titles of Miss India Worldwide 2018 and Miss India USA 2017 to her credit.
Saini was selected as Miss World Washington to compete for Miss World America title, preliminary to the Miss World competition and was one among the top five contestants. In an earlier interview she has revealed that she was a heart patient with a pacemaker fit in at the age of 12 and her doctors advised her never to dance. S
hree’s mom, Ekta Saini took to her daughters Instagran to share photos of her being taken to the hospital. Asking her fan and followers to pray for her daughter, Ekta said, they have been in hospital since 9pm, October 12. “They are doing cat scan, EKG, etc.Doctors just told me that less than 1% people at age 12 have a Pacemaker. So Shree will stay in hospital for a cardiac arrest watch” mentioned the post.
After clinching two titles, this was the third one that Shree was aiming to conquer. According to e Ekta, Shree won five competitions out of six that day and was strong contender for the 'Miss America' title. The winner of the Miss World America 2019 pageant that is happening at the Hotel New Orleans in Las Vegas and commenced on October 12, 2019. And the winner of the Miss World America pageant will get a chance to represent the US at Miss World 2019 in London, which will take place on December 14, 2019 at ExCel.
