The Kardashian has their way of owing the social media sphere, this time, however, it is not without some harsh criticism. Kim Kardashian, who always has some fashion enigma up her sleeves this time decided to wear the traditional Indian mang tikka to church but people are upright not happy with her fashion statement calling it ‘cultural appropriation’ going even to the extent of schooling the reality star and drawing the lines of which to cross and which not to.

The reality star and mother of three, who’s social media presence is never down shared a picture of her on her Instagram account wearing a mang tikka giving the caption 'Sunday Service Vibe'. It wasn’t long before fans took notice of the mang tikka and slammed her with criticism stating that "culture is not a costume" and that it was wrong for Kim to adorn it.

One user went even as far to school the reality star by schooling her on the definition and importance of the head piece writing, "For those of you who don't know, the maang tika is a ceremonial head piece traditionally worn by the bride. Wearing white in India is traditionally reserved for funerals,"

Another user also noted out her disapproval for the outfit posting this comment, ‘’It’s a no from us, Kim’’.

Kim’s account with over 133 million followers this time with the photo has received tons of criticisms for what they say is ‘cultural appropriation’.

This however isn’t the first time Kim has caught herself in a row of cultural appropriation slamming. She had also been slammed during the MTV movie and TV awards for flaunting a cornrow-style braid hairdo which one user also commented in her latest post. The user wrote, ‘’She’s done appropriating black culture, now she’s moved onto south Asian’’.
