The hunt for Miss Universe India 2018 has begun with the launched of its sixth edition. The Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2018 has elevated aspirants from across the country and groomed the young beauty queen aspirants.
The winner will represent India at the coveted pageant Miss Universe 2018.
The nationwide auditions for the latest edition was kick-started in June with former Miss Universe Lara Dutta as mentor and face of the series. The auditions were held in 10 cities of India, including Lucknow, Kolkata, Indore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Delhi.
The final leg of auditions was culminated in Mumbai last week during which the top 20 finalists were officially unveiled. The finalists will now compete for the coveted title.
This year’s edition has come up with all-new format with a unique concept-based event to vie for the crown, where the finalists will compete in four city sub-contest event followed by a thematic night.
Besides the vigorous training and grooming session from the best in the industry, the finalists will be judged on various parameters ranging from ramp walk, photo shoot, perfect body, personality, communication skills and so on.
The first sub content event of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2018 styled by Central was kickstarted in Goa at the Park Calangute followed by the second at the Roseate House, Aerocity New Delhi. The finalists will later travel to Chennai and the final sub-contest will be held in Mumbai.
The judges for the Delhi sub contest included Bollywood celebs Lara Dutta, Sophie Chaudhary and Pulkit Samrat.
