New Delhi:

Sara Ali Khan just made her own magazine debut. Because after winning the crown as B-town ‘sweetheart’ since her debut in Kedarnath then in Simmba, a stunning magazine cover is only deserving for the young actor which she did. She shot for her first-ever magazine cover in Kenya and while we can all agree that she looks gorgeous as ever, the presence of Africans as ‘props’ just doesn’t seem right with ‘netizens’.

The magazine shared a sneak-peek from the photoshoot on Twitter, and twitterati are clearly not happy. In addition to what the netizens think is a shadowless Maasai warrior hovering around in the air, which many have called it ‘kharab editing’, people have also called the photo "racist" and "offensive".

After the photoshoot snippets released by the magazine, Twitter have wasted no time to roast the actor for using humans as ‘props’. One user commented, "Sara Ali Khan, I reserve judgment cuz I'd like to believe u r 'woke' enough to know that Africans in their traditional attire are not props for ur photoshoots! This article better have content on the people & culture u have photographed, if not, this is highly offensive!! (sic)" while another wrote, ‘’ "In what way is it okay to use another human being as a prop... way to disrespect Africa,"

A video clip shared by the magazine on their Twitter page, however, shows the Maasai warrior to be jumping in the air when he was clicked. And with that, we have to give a huge clap to the photographer for the standstill image that looks like time has been put on hold, or is it?

Let us know what you think of the photo.
