Christmas special recipe: Plum Cake

Christmas is incomplete without cakes. Make this Christmas extra special with the delicious Plum Cake. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients

• 3 eggs
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
• 1 cup oil
• 2 cups self-raising flour
• 3/4 cup orange juice
• 1 cup peeled plums (fresh or tinned)

Method

• Mix the eggs and sugar
• Add one cup of flour
• Add one cup of oil
• Add 2 cups of flour and 3/4 cup of orange juice
• Spread plums onto the top of the mixture
• Bake for approximately 50 minutes at 160ºC
