Dr. Yeshi Dhonden, who is famous for giving Cancer medicine at Tibetan Herbal Clinic, was recently conferred with the Padma Shree Award.
Dhonden says no disease or Cancer is from the beginning. “It all depends on one's behaviour and eating habits. You have to detect it in early stages.”
Dhonden has been personal physician to HH Dalai Lama.
91-year-old Dhonden has served patients from all over the world for more than 50 years, including people in the advanced stages of Cancer from his clinic in McLeod Ganj, Himachal Pradesh.
“I have been practicing orthopaedics for the last 40 years. I was diagnosed with cancer. I have been taking treatment from Dr Yeshi Dhonden since June last year and there has been an improvement in my condition,” said Dr PM Gadre, an orthopaedic surgeon from Kanpur, one of the patients.
