If Bhumi Pednekar’s body transformation from an impossibly overweight Indian wife in her debut movie Dum Laga Ke Hiasa to Miss Fit and Fab Vedika in Pati Patni Aur Woh has impressed more than any other Bollywood actress, here’s all her fitness secrets that you wanted to know and it doesn’t mean she is starving herself to death.
While being a part of a cookery show organised Bhumi revealed she loves cooking and has never deprived her diet from butter and ghee but in moderation. Talking about her eating habits, the actress revealed that she follows a thumbs rule, ‘'eating homemade food'. The actress also revealed that he never consulted a nutritionist for her drastic weight less, it has always been her mother. Sharing her secret weight loss tricks, Bhumi said, “Avoid refined sugar and have kept a control on my carbohydrate intake. “

"I am extremely thrilled to engage in a live cooking session for the first time, as it is known that food makes me happy. I have always been a healthy kid and I personally love cooking and have never deprived myself from eating ghee, butter, etc, in moderation," said Bhumi.
"I avoid refined sugar and have kept a control on my carbohydrate intake. I have never consulted any dietician or nutritionist. It was always my mother and I... as we have always followed one thumb rule of 'eating homemade food' which we feel is a masterstroke when one wants to lose weight and stay fit," added the "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" actress.
Bhumi gained 23 kg weight indulging on every fattening food for her first Bollywood break. She then went on to lose all the weight in a period of time with 69% work out and 40% diet. “I just picked healthier options. I quit wheat and refined sugar. I switched to whole grains. If you want to eat rotis, eat jawar ki bhakri.” She revealed.
But here’s Pednekar’s answer to the ‘what’s your secret?’ question: aloe vera juice, copious amounts of it, apparently and mineral supplements to not lose out on skin and hair glow on drastic weight loss.
On the film front, Bhumi has started shooting for her upcoming film "Durgavati".
