Taking influencer Metaohysical Meagen and her positive claims about ‘perineum sunning’ which, she says aides a healthy libido, balanced sexual energy and increasing creativity, Brolin decided to give the strange wellness trend a try until the wellness trend gave him a burn in the ‘pucker hole’ that made him say no.
Taking to his social media account to call out the strange wellness trend, the actor vented,
‘’Tried this perineum sunning that I’ve been hearing about and my suggestion is DO NOT do it as long as I did. My pucker hole is crazy burned and I was going to spend the day shopping with my family and instead I’m icing and using aloe and burn creams because of the severity of the pain.

Netizens including Brolin was introduced to the practice of “perineum sunning” last month, when an Instagram health influencer who goes by Ra of Earth posted a now-viral video of three naked men lying on the grass with their legs up, exposing their backsides to the sun.
Following the influencer’s claim that ‘perineum sunning’ can have positive results, gynaecologist Dr Jennifer Gunter, the author of The Vagina Bible, came forward to refute the claims stating that the practice could result in an increased risk of skin cancer on the vulva in women.
‘’I feel confident when I say the anus and perineum have no special sunlight concentrating abilities. You can get melanoma on the vulva and sunburns there are very painful’’ the doctor tweeted.
