New Delhi:

A social media post that is jostling our beauty senses to shock involves mouthwash. A woman has come forward with an unusual beauty hack where she claims that using mouth wash to soak her feet leaves it as soft as a baby’s. With summer here and the sandal season in, it is also that time of the year to have a weekly rescheduling to the pedicure salon unless you are least bothered by the un-pedicured tootsies.

One woman, however has an easy way out to all your un-pedicured problems because according to one woman using mouthwash to soak your feet can help get rid of the dead skin. The woman shared a snap of herself in a group relaxing with her feet soaked in Listerine 'Cool Mint' mouth wash after a cleaning stint explaining that the hack is 'amazing' and apparently gets rid of dead skin on her heels and balls of her feet.

Her unusual beauty hack however left more people in the group baffled than ‘impressed’.

"How do people come up with these things? “Who thought, 'I wonder what would happen if I soaked my feet in mouthwash? One user in the group asked.

While another asked, “Listerine, how does that work then?"

Some unfortunates who tried the beauty hack commented that the hack left feet in different colour, not one of a human body.

"Remember when you did this and your feet went green?!" a user asked her friend. While another admitted they had given it a go only to find it blue wrote, “Never again’’.

While many beauty hack lovers are still pondering about the unusual idea, one beauty therapist adds that the hack does work. "When doing pedicures we have a brand that does menthol/mint products such as foot scrub and masks and I can tell you now they are the best I've ever used.

"The mint really refreshes your feet leaving a cooling tingling sensation.

"Clients love it and it smells just like mouth wash... don't knock it till you've tried it’’ the beauty therapist added.

If the woman’s claim of the unusual beauty hack does happen to work, we might have found the solution to unpedicured feet in a blue solution bottle.
