Swine Flu is back and has become a major health scare in the country. The fatal disease has claimed lives of 585 people, including 100 in last three days across the nation. Around 8,420 people are affected by the flu this year in the country. It was first appeared in 2009.
What is Swine Flu?
Swine Flu is also known as H1N1, pig influenza, Swine influenza, pig flu and hog flu. The virus commonly transmits through pigs, resulting only in production of anti-bodies in the blood of humans. People with regular exposure to pigs have high percentage of swine flu infection.
The dangerous flu spreads with touch, breathe, cough and sneeze droplets in the air. Young children, older people and pregnant women are more prone to the fatal disease.
