New Delhi:
A Facebooker’s status went tragically wrong on Monday night after he killed himself by downing 25 shots of vodka in less than 60 seconds.
23-year-old Humberto Moura Fonseca’s Facebook profile reads, “It is better to die from vodka than from boredom.”
The incident happened after the University of Julio de Mesquita student got involved in a drinking competition in Bauru, south-western Brazil.
After finishing the 25th shot, he felt ill and suddenly collapsed, said the onlookers.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital but died on the way, with doctors later confirming they had suffered alcohol poisoning.
