Because the witty, high-spirited star who can charm you into fixation with silly talks with his Koffee With Karan episodes confirmed something exciting. In an interview with Vogue, Johar confirmed that he will be hosting the much awaited, Vogue Woman of the Year, 2018. So, this year there be no escaping the riots of laughter and the unforgettable moments stars will recall in years to come.

 
Can’t wait for October 27? The Bollywood director Karan will be taking the stage after his lists of favourite hosts such as Shah Rukh Khan and Ayushman Khurrana. Karan also told Vogue that if he was to choose a co-host, he would love to have Ranbir Kapoor. In the interview with Vogue, he is seen telling them about how excited he is, “I am supremely excited, not nervous,” he smiles. “Hosting is something I’ve done before. I’m excited because I know it’s a prestigious platform, it’s also a noble platform; it awards some tremendous women from all walks of life and I can’t wait to have lots of fun on stage with a fashionable audience.”

The event will take place on October 27 at the Mumbai’s Grand Hyatt Hotel. The Vogue Women of the Year awards 2018, however, will not just be about women but also about men who are slowly taking on new paths from the long conventional establishments.
 
The director also dropped a bombshell about what he has in store for the much-excited event. When asked about what he will be wearing for the event, he was seen telling Vogue that for the event he has non-other than the Dolce and Gabbana ready. "I'm wearing an interesting suit that looks a little bit like a bathrobe," Karan smiled and said.
