Is former supermodel mum Cindy Crawford worried about daughter Kaia Gerber’s new love-interest, Pete Davidson. Reports say yes. Addressing the romance rumours which Kaia and Pete have been going on for over eight weeks now, an insider said, "I think they’re just hoping this could all fizzle out. [Kaia’s] travelling and working constantly — how serious can [she and Davidson] get?"
The source further added, ‘’Kaia can be slightly naive. But she’s a smart girl with a good head on her shoulders and a family who watches out for her. [Her family are] very hands on."
While neither Kaia or Pete have spoken publicly about their romance, the duo were seen sharing a very pda moment on various occasions. Photographers captured the duo sharing a passionate kiss while laying poolside in Miami just days after Davidson and Gerber celebrated Pete’s 26th birthday together.
Contradictory to mum Cindy’s latest gossip, she earlier said that she is fully supportive of Kaia’s decision. "Cindy’s supportive of Kaia and wants her to be happy. Right now she’s happy with Pete Davidson, so Cindy’s trying not to to get involved’’ a source told Us Weekly.
"Kaia’s young, so Cindy’s encouraging her to stay focused on her future. Kaia trusts her mum completely and looks to her as a role model’ the source further added.
