Cellphones aren't a risk on flights

A major regional airline's pilot has said that turning off your cell phone on flight is really not that important.

Having your electronic device on below 10,000 feet is not an immediate danger to the flight, the Huffington Post reported.

Pilots are the worst offenders of this rule. Not on purpose, of course, but when they're flying all day, sometimes they forget to turn their phones off.

That said, it's still important for you to listen to the flight attendants and follow their instructions to turn off your electrical devices.
