On Sunday news surfaced that several people in Spain reportedly fell ill after taking a dive at the pristine lake Monte Neme - an Instagram-famous tourist spot which despite its turquoise blue water have been called a toxic dump. According to Euro News, the exquisite turquoise colour of the water is actually a result of chemical contamination and had in fact, been nicknamed 'Galician Chernobyl'.
