The pride of Europe, Italy was and is still the hand-picked choice of destination for a vacation. It is not just a place but a feeling because a huge chunk of the World’s cultural origin can be traced back to Italy. You get to relive Maximus’s valour at the Colosseum in Rome, fall in love with Verona as Romeo did Juliet, feel the tragedy of Othello at Venice and marvel at the superlative arts of the Renaissance artists.

It is home to some of the finest Hollywood celebrities such as George Clooney, Catherine Zeta Jones, Brad Pitt among many others and has also become a favourite destination to mark the commitment of two souls.
Who else remembers the unannounced-wedding of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli at Tuscany? And recently, the engagement of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal at Lake Como. This city is loaded with wonderful art, architecture, and some of the finest museums in the world, the Uffizi, basilica di santa maria del fiore and the Galleria dell’ Accademia among many. Florence truly is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Another melting pot of cultures, Sicily has an extraordinary combination of Greek temples, Norman churches, Roman mosaics, and classic Baroque towns. Apart from its cultural history, this island has no shortage for picturesque venture. From the beautiful scenery of Taormina to the wonderfully, preserved Temples of Agrigento to the magnificent Cathedral of Monreale, Sicily has so much to offer.
Of course, who can forget Italians and the food. The different regions of Italy all have their own specialties but no matter where you are, you will find wonderful cuisine. So, disappointment in food is out of question! From the wonderful seafood of Venice and Sicily to the cheesy pasta of Tuscany and the lip-smacking salami, prosciutto, and cheeses or the pasta dish in Cinque Terre, Italy is food-heaven.
And of course you can always experience the rustic life in the beautiful coastal region of Cinque Terre, go for a road trip at the beautiful rolling hill of Val d’Orcia, lay back sipping their famous wine at the hilltop towns.
