Did Dobby from Harry Potter just escape the Hogwarts Kitchens? A mystifying video that is circulating on the internet is making netzines feel certain that the elf-like creature from Harry Potter is real. The video surfaced on the internet when a bizarre short clip was posted on social media by one Vivian Gomez which has now gone viral. In the video captured by a home security camera, it shows a small figure with skinny legs and large ears walk down a driveway and do a dance.
Gomez, taking to Facebook said she woke up on Sunday to see the bizarre footage.
"First I saw the shadow walking from my front door then I saw this thing....has anyone else seen this on their cameras??" The other two cameras didn’t pick it up for some reason’’ she asked.
The video has since Thursday gotten over 11 million views with netizens coming up with theories of their own.
"They are among us," writes Facebook user Michael Douglas hinting the mysterious creature could be an alien. While another feels that the elf-like creature is none other than Dobby, "What on earth is that? Dobby?" Tweeted @Static_Security on Twitter.
Some people however felt that the whole thing was staged though Gomez insists it's real.
"If anyone tested it or whatever they do, it would confirm it’s not altered," she wrote in a comment.
