Game of Thrones fever with the final season has taken a grip over the viewers all over again, but this statue definitely has not! A new waxwork sculpture of Emily Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen recently gone on display in Dublin, the artwork instead of wowing us has left us rather scratching our heads and the internet baffled like, are we talking about the same Mother of Dragons here?

As expected, it wasn’t long before netzines took notice of the blunder and started rolling their eyes like, seriously? Responding to the statue, one Twitter user commented: "I don't know who this supposed to look like but it's definitely not the mother of dragons."
Another wrote, "Wow winter's really taken its toll!" "Another user felt that the statue was more like Legolas from Lord of the Rings character than Daenerys.
Daenerys is the first GoT character to be unveiled at the venue on the city’s Westmoreland Street and will soon be followed by Davos Seaworth.
According to the Irish Times, the new model of Daenerys played by Emilia Clarke on GoT, took over six months to complete with artist PJ Heraghty using stills, 3-D imaging and video footage to fashion the likeness.
