Calling the virus, Wuhan-400 in the novel, Dean Koontz’s fiction 1981 novel ‘The Eyes of Darkness’ amid the coronavirus outbreak is spooking out netizens given how the coronavirus’ origin has its root in Wuhan and also how it dashes on the existing conspiracy theory that the novel virus could be a ‘biological weapon’. The prediction of the virus in the novel was first pointed out by a Twitter user who shared an excerpt from the book. In the except, Koontz tells of a Chinese military lab that creates a virus as part of its biological weapons programme which is giving birth to even more conspiracy theories in regards to the origin of the virus.

In no less time, the tweet drew the attention from the masses who busied their fingers on the keyboard on the spooky-coincidence.
