A bizarre murder case that could possibly be caused by one of the most trivial reasons is this particular case that took place in Chennai’s Koyambedu wholesale flower market. According to India Times, a couple’s fight over a missing chicken piece in biryani drove a man to murder a girl. The reports add that the unidentified 25-year-old girl and boy had bought a packet of chicken biryani from one of the roadside shops at the Chennai, Koyambedu wholesale flower market, and had sat down to eat when the argument happened.
Reports claim the argument took for a dark turn when the girl complained to the boy about the absence of the chicken piece in the biryani. The argument is believed to have turned so bad that the boy eventually took out a knife which he happened to have in his pocket and slit the girl’s throat. The girl is reported to have died on the spot bleeding from the wound.
The body of the girl has been sent for post mortem by the police to the Kilpauk government hospital. The police are also carrying an investigation to hunt down the boy.
