Coronavirus is expanding its grip in China and South Korea increasing its death toll to 2,715 and 78,064 confirmed cases. Amidst the increasing number of diagnosed cases, in a rather heart-warming move, two hospital attendants celebrated recovery of several patients with dance routine.
The video was shared by People’s Daily, China, has the two medical staff on duty of admitted patients detected with COVID19 dancing ballet at the hospital entrance at E China’s Anhui
The video caption said: “#HeartwarmingMoments: Two medical workers dance ballet in front of a hospital in E China’s Anhui to celebrate the recovery of six more #COVID19 patients.”

Social media too did their happy dance as they congratulated the staff on their success in saving lives and called them real life ‘angels’, ‘heroes’. A post read: “They are stressed. They cheer himself up (sic).” “Great job! I pray for China,”
A user wrote, “So happy I am seeing that doctors are dedicated for patient. Even knowing that they are in danger. Serve humanity, serve planet.”

In another video shared by People’s Daily, China hospital attendants are seen doing victory dance in Gajnam style. The video comes as a breather, a break from the relentless battle against the deadly virus and the ongoing news of fatalities. ““Drop the beat! Let’s take a break in the battle against #COVID19 and dance!” they wrote.

Earlier this month, a heart-wrenching video of an elderly couple with coronavirus bidding their final goodbye to each other at a hospital bed is making the internet have a meltdown. The video that was brought into light was shared by a Twitter user with the caption, “What does a couple mean? Two elderly patients of #coronavirus #CoronarivusOutbreak in their 80s said goodbye in ICU, this could be the last time to meet and greet.”

Meanwhile, on Monday, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated the peak in China occurred between January 23 and February 2 and the number of new cases there "has been declining steadily since then". Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for the use of digital technology such as big data, artificial intelligence and cloud computing to help in diagnosing and treating the endemic.
