Hunter Narrowly Escape Crocodile's Jaw After He Mistook It For A Log

New Delhi:

Look twice, thrice before you wade into the waters of Australia! A hunter nearly had his penis gulped down by a monster crocodile when he mistook it for a log off the coast of the Northern Territory.  Elston Lami Lami was hunting through murky water near Minjilang on Croker Island on Saturday when he stepped on what he thought was a log, but wasn’t.

Quickly realising what he was standing on, the 42-year-old stood still not to disturb the hungry reptile. However, after 15 seconds of being still, the crocodile aggressively flipped Mr Lami Lami and bit him on his upper right leg.

'When he come up, when he flipped me and I looked at his eye, he had that crocodile tears on it. Like... you're mine. You're my lunch,' Mr Lami Lami told the ABC Darwin.

Telling the news channel that he caught himself into a Hercules-like-situation with the crocodile by repeatedly punching the wild beast, trying to get it off hi, Lami added,

‘’I hit him three times in the nose, he let me go. Come back again, try and attack me. When he snapped at me, I grabbed him, held him at the jaw with two hands and I was getting weak so I thought the only way to get his attention, I had to hit him again’’.

The crocodile was finally warded off after his punches and his dogs barking at the croc. Lami then managed to walk for half an hour back to his car where he got himself treated at Minjilang Community Health Centre, where a CareFlight medical response group met him and airlifted him to Royal Darwin Hospital.

Lami Lami remains in a stable condition in hospital, thankfully!
