A Facebook page that goes by the name ‘BarpetaTown The place of peace’ shared a video of a woman singing Lata Mangeshkar’s classic song ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagma hai’ from movie ‘Shor’ on July 28. “A woman working Ranaghat station in West Bengal. What a voice, felt in love with this voice 😊,” the Facebook page captioned the video. Since then, the video has garnered over two million views.
After the brilliant response, the page again shared a video featuring the same woman. “Feeling sad as she till did not get a platform, Guys please share so come,some music directors get to see her talent,” was the caption of the second video. This time, the woman who has been identified so far, was singing ‘ae mere watan ke logon’.
“I really don't have any words to describe your talent... Such talents are rare to see but i must appreciate the person who searched such talents... U r really a star pretty lady.. Such simplicity nd such melodious voice is impressing everyone of surroundings...,” said user Nikita Agarwal . “ I hope some music directors will bring her to light,” posted one Nooraini Abdullah. Another Facebook user remarked, “Her talent is genuine work hard to this lady to be a singer voice is sweet help her pls!”
