The political, controversial movie, The Accidental Prime Minister based on the former Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh starring Anupam Kher is set to hit the big screen on the 11th of January.  The movie based on the book of the same name by Sanjaya Baru sketches the political career of the former Prime Minister, during the years of 2004 to 2014. However, days ahead of its release, the movie has landed itself in a muddle of controversies and outrages so much that even a case against the leading stars like Kher was filed in the Bihar Court.

Some creative netizens are, however, playing their cool amidst all the back and forth hullabaloos by creating parodies from famous shows and movies out of the seemingly serious, political movie such as Game of Thrones and Avengers franchise. One spoof of the Accidental Prime Minister features Game of Thrones famous lines, WINTER IS COMING’ which is replaced by ‘ELECTIONS ARE COMING’. The parody trailer also shows the popular show Game of Thrones, dubbed in the Hindi voiceover with Nedstark, replaced by Dr Manmohan Singh, while, Cersi Lanister has been replaced by Sonia Gandhi.
