Ratan Tata, who recently joined Instagram, posted a heart-melting birth anniversary message for his late pet ‘Tito’ and Internet can’t stop gushing about it. Just two post old, Tata’s Instagram account is breaking the net. He posted a cute photo of ‘Tito’, the German Shepherd, along with a message that would give goosebumps to any doggo lover! “Today would be the 14th birthday of my late dog, Tito. I still come home to two kind souls and meet so many others in and around the office. While few have the comfort of families, many struggle on the streets, and yet somehow, their affection remains the same. Those of you who strive for the welfare of the voiceless, truly have my respect,” Tata wrote on his Instagram account.

Avowed by the post, Instagram users have been lauding Tata’s special gesture. “The love for animals showcases a man's nature and profound greatness of seeing all living souls with equality,” Instagram user Shreyas Chandran said.

Rata Tata joined Instagram four days ago. “I don’t know about breaking the internet, but I am so excited to join all of you on Instagram! After a long absence from public life, I look forward to exchanging stories and creating something special with such a diverse community!,” Tata said in his first post. His Instagram bio read: “I made it to the 'Gram! Chairman, Tata Trusts Chairman Emeritus, Tata Sons.” As of now, Tata has 537K followers.

Tata is widely known as dog-lover. In fact, last year he dedicated part of renovated Bombay House to stray dogs. The kennel at the Bombay House is well-stocked with toys etc. Daily supply of meat comes from Taj!

Tata, Chairman Emeritus at present, was the Chairman of Tata Sons, one of the two promoter holding companies of the Tata group, from 1991 till his retirement on December 28, 2012. He was also chairman of the major Tata companies, including Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Power, Tata Global Beverages, Tata Chemicals, Indian Hotels and Tata Teleservices. During his tenure, the group’s revenues grew manifold, totalling over $100 billion in 2011-12.
