United States president’s India sojourn has been celebrated with sea and the sand of the Bay of Bengal. Odisha based sand animator Manas Kumar Sahoo created sand art at Puri’s sea beach that had portraits of Trump and the US fIrst lady Melania Trump painted with sand particles.
In the art piece created by Manas, Trump and Melania are seen standing with the Taj Mahal at its backdrop. The couple along with their daughter and son-in-law visited the iconic monument in Agra yesterday. The art pice was 6ft high 10ft long and was made using 4 tons of sand.
“Through my sand art, I want to welcome Mr and Mrs Trump to India,” Kumar told ANI. “It took me six hours to create these artworks,”

Apart from these renowned sand artists, several others have come up with their unique creations to welcome Trump to India. Rice grain artist Venkatesh created a portrait of Trump and Modi using rice grains at ‘Ahmedabad One Mall’ on Sunday. Chandigarh based Aman Singh Gulati etched the portrait of the US President on a piece of almond.
