New Delhi:

T-Pain is under plagiarism attack for plucking a tune from one of Bollywood’s favourite, Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2. Tum Hi Ho sung by singer Arjit Singh was one among the must-have playlist songs of 2013, hence for T-Pain to have snipped the tune couldn’t possibly have escaped unnoticed. The American rapper’s latest track, titled, That’s Yo Money, which he released on many platforms, features a reoccurring flute melody cannot escape the ears of the all-time-Bollywood song listeners. Netizens on sniffing the similarity have slammed the artiste for copying the popular Hindi song Tum Hi Ho from the movie Aashiqui 2 of 2013. According to reports, the duplicating came to the public’s full light when Mithoon, Bollywood composer and also the original creator of the song, raised the issue on his Twitter handle.

The music composer tweeted, "Sir, the melody that you have used in your new song is my original work for a previously released Hindi film..The Label is looking into this,".

Soon after the tweet, fans of the Bollywood song went about calling the American rapper for copying the Bollywood tune.  Here are some of the tweets slamming T-Pain for copying the song:

On Saturday, T-Pain himself released his tweet surrounding the controversy, he tweeted, "Woke up to getting dragged by brown twitter. Sooooo yea. I definitely didn't produce this song. Had no idea that was a sample and have never heard the music before I got the beat from the producer. Easy thing to work out. The labels will be in contact. Thanx,".

Following the outrage online and complaint from the makers of Tum Hi Ho, the song has been removed from YouTube.
