A surveillance video caught a Zomato delivery man opening the ordered food of the customer then gobbling it down. Unbeknownst to him, all his hungry-deeds were being recorded right under his nose. The video shows a man in a Zomato shirt eating the food parcel then keeping the box back in the package. And he doesn't stop there, he goes for the other package too. He is then seen adjusting the sealing of a smaller packet after which he prepares to leave.

The captured video has gone viral and is being retweeted all over social media. The online food platform company, Zomato have expressed their apology for what has happened. In a shared statement after the incident Zomato wrote, "If true, this is unfortunate and not in line with our beliefs. We take this very seriously and will soon introduce tamper-proof tapes, and other precautionary measures to ensure we safeguard against this".
On finding out the truth, the company has also sincerely apologized and claimed responsibility for the action, stating "The person in the video happened to be a delivery partner on our fleet. We have spoken to him at length and while we understand that this was a human error in judgment, we have taken him off our platform."
