For the sceptics, true love still exists and it is in the form of an 83-year-old German man. A story of an undying love has surfaced on the internet after the man, Paul Brockmann is repeated to have bought 55,000 designer gowns for his wife so that she wouldn’t have to wear the same twice. According to The Sun, Paul stores the dresses in his wife Margot's garage in Arizona, a specially-designed closet and three 50-foot-long containers.
According to reports, Paul began his collection after he first set his eyes on Margot at a dance hall in Germany, where there ‘happily-ever-after story began’.
In an interview with New York Post Paul revealed the reason he started to collect gowns for his wife Margot, “We danced all night, and we fell in love that night. That’s the time when they had wide skirts and petticoats,” Paul says in the video.

Once he started collecting he never stopped. He is said to have purchased most of the gowns from sales and all because his wife wouldn’t have to wear the same gown twice. Paul’s collections are so huge that stores all across America want to buy them. “When the styles were changing, they would call me up and sell me the dresses at a very reasonable price,” said Paul.
Paul and Margot however, decided to stop collecting 2014 not because he wanted to but because he ran out of space. Out of those gowns 7000 have been sold and around 48000 thousand are up for grabs. However, Paul have 200 special gowns which he will never sell because he wants his wife Margot to wear them.
