A new viral video of a well-mannered cat gently tapping on the door-handle for someone to open will awaken the inner Taylor Swift in us. Even you categorize yourself a dog person, this viral cat can’t help but give the big old thumbs up at how full of etiquette this act is. Dubbed as Britain’s politest cat’, a woman was left stumped after witnessing a cat politely knock on its owner’s front door, waiting patiently to be let in.
The woman, Sheekilah Jones, 24, filmed the tux cat in Cardiff ‘standing on its hind legs with its front paws on the door handle’. The cat then waits patiently to be let in with its paws resting on the door handle, but when the door remains shut. Getting no answer, the cat knocks again. Perhaps the owners are away or asleep.

‘I’m either seeing things because it’s 6am, or this cat is actually knocking on the door?’ Jones told Metro.co.uk.
The video of the cat reaches up for the knocker and lifts it several times before patiently waiting for someone to answer the door has since gone viral with over 1.8million views and 11,000 shares since it was filmed on Thursday at 6.02am.
