New Delhi:

Starbucks, a hangout place with unlimited WiFi, has recently placed one policy - no porn! But it looks like porn purveyor, YouPorn is not going to go down lightly! The coffee corporation have yet again issued promising statements that mature content in the premise will have to be taken outside to which YouPorn has amusingly twisted the table by banning Starbucks coffee in its offices.

Vice President of YouPorn, Charles Hughes has sent out a wrap-sheet to its employees effective January 1, 2019. According to the memo, Starbucks products will be banned in all YouPorn offices. And this response is clearly sending a bit of lolz over social media.

YouPorn, one of the 200 highest-traffic websites in the world, said in an internal memo to employees Thursday, obtained and reported by TMZ, that it will ban all Starbucks products from its offices effective January 1.

In between this porn and caffeine, some netizens are making time for lolz comments, One Twitter user commented, "Ok which one of y'all was watching so much porn in Starbucks they had to block it on their wifi?" Another user had a more sarcastic take, the user commented, "Handcuffing yourself to a Starbucks until they give us back our porn".

While a group which had encouraged people to sign a petition demanding Starbucks to introduce filters on contents commented, "Starbucks continues to serve up free, unrestricted WiFi to its customers, opening the door for patrons to view graphic or obscene pornography, view or distribute child pornography (an illegal crime) or engage in sexual predation activity".

The global coffee chain said that despite it being against the store policy for customers to view porn on free store Wi-Fi, people seemed to have gotten away viewing the age-restricted content. This has raised some serious concern among citizens who now states that Starbucks care more about providing paper straws to protect the environment than protecting kids and patrons on its public WiFi!

Apparently, Starbucks has broken its promise to filter pornography and child sex abuse images, despite its public announcement it would voluntarily provide safe WiFi in its restaurants nationwide two-and-half years ago.

As of Thursday, over 26,000 people had signed an online petition, asking Starbucks to follow through on the 2016 commitment. Enough is Enough, a nonprofit that advocates for a safer Internet for children and families, created the form in an attempt to light a fire under the mega coffee chain.
