Thakral from Meri Jung - Amrish Puri had played the role of a lawyer in Subhash Ghai's 'Meri Jung' as well. In this emotional family drama, Puri aka Thakral had proved an innocent man guilty in the court, who is then hanged to death. The twist comes after the innocent man's son played by Anil Kapoor takes the revenge and defeats Thakral in a case regarding his son. Amrish Puri had won a Filmfare award for 'Meri Jung' in the category of supporting actor.
