Bob Dylan a music genius, Nobel Prize winner, a pop icon that redefined the whole outlook of how one looks at music turns 78 today. A visual artist who has been a major figure in popular culture of the Blues, Traditional Pop, American pop music for the past six decades, Dylan’s music was a revolutionary culture that promulgated the idea of peace through music. Film maker Martin Scorsese much like Dylan in his own field is all set to release a new documentary about Bob Dylan’s 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue tour.

Scorsese’s documentary on Dylan has been in production for years and is described as “an alchemic mix of fact and fantasy” that explores the road trip in the context of “a country ripe for reinvention.”
Netflix had previously mentioned that the project was “part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream”.
Netflix also added that the documentary “captures the troubled spirit of America in 1975 and the joyous music that Dylan performed during the fall of that year.”
Dylan’s’s 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue tour included a special guest list of other music icons like Roger McGuinn, Joan Baez, Allen Ginsberg, Joni Mitchell and Ringo Starr.
Scorsese’s documentary on Bob Dylan arrives on June 12.
