Television actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who is best known for her character Anandi in Balika Vadhu committed suicide by hanging herself. The actress passed away in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri.
Her personal life issues are being cited as the reasons behind such drastic step. Allegedly, she was having a depressing life with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. They both were in serious relationship and were planning to tie knot soon.

Bidisha Bezbaruah:
Actor Bidisha Bezbaruah, who was seen in the recently released film Jagga Jasoos with Ranbir Kapoor, was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The 30-year-old actor and singer allegedly committed suicide at her residence in the posh Sushant Lok area of the city.
She was a native of Assam was well known TV personality who had hosted many stage shows as well.She had recently come from Mumbai to Gurgaon, the police said.
Anjali Srivastava:
Bhojpuri actress Anjali Srivastava (29), an actor, allegedly committed suicide at her rented apartment in Andheri suburb of Mumbai, police said.
Srivastava, who recently acted in a Bhojpuri film, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her flat in Parimal Society in Andheri.
However no suicide note was found.
Bitasta Saha:
A semi-decomposed body of a small-time local actress of the Bengali entertainment industry was recovered from her flat in the southern part of the city's Kasba area.
Bitasta Saha's semi-decomposed body was found hanging from the ceiling of her flat in Kasba area. After repeated phone calls went unanswered for almost two days, her mother visited the flat where she used to stay alone.
When Bitasta did not open the door after several knocks, her mother and neighbours informed police. Police broke the door and found the actress's body hanging from the ceiling, a police officer said.
It was learnt that one of Bitasta's wrist was slit and there were several injury marks on her body too.
Disha Ganguly:
The body of a Bengali television serial actress Disha Ganguly was found hanging at her south Kolkata home this morning as the police suspected she could have committed sucide.
The 23-year-old actress allegedly hanged herself inside her room at her residence in Parnashree in southern parts of the city, police said. Disha acted in popular Bengali serials like "Kanakanjali".
