Shahid Kapoor met his 'baby wife', as he is often seen calling her, through Radha Soami Satsang, a religious group to which both their families belong.
Its been two years of Shahid-Mira magic and the story of their nuptial is nothing less than a fairy-tale. Millions of heart were broken when Shahid Kapoor decided to get hitched. And what came as a surprise was that the girl he was going to marry had no association with B-Town. Shahid Kapoor did stick to his statement in one of his interviews, where he said that he would like his life partner to have no Bollywood connect. And he did that!
Many of you must be excited to know about the plans the couple hold for this special date, but lets just put our hopes down as both Shahid and Mira have no plans to celebrate their wedding anniversary this time. They both are busy with respective shoots, but as caring as a husband Shahid Kapoor is, we hope he will take some time out for his beautiful wife.
Shahid and Mira got married on July 7, 2015 and their marriage was a very low key affair, attended by only close friends and family members.
But more about their meeting was revealed by the two when Mira Rajput made her television debut with hubby Shahid Kapoor on Koffee With Karan season 5. Shahid and Mira ended up talking for seven hours at a friend’s farmhouse before they decided to get hitched.
And what makes this year special for the couple is their daughter 'Misha'. They both have confessed that Misha brought them closer adding more love in their relationship.
Last year Shahid Kapoor on his anniversary shared a heart stirring post on Instagram, captioned: "Happy first anniversary my love. Mira Kapoor you are my sunshine."
The couple is a 'match made in heaven' and we wish both Shahid and Mira a very Happy Wedding Anniversary.
