Tinsel town is abuzz with the news but this is not the first time that a Bollywood celebrity has become single father through surrogacy. Tushar Kapoor was the first actor in the B-town to opt surrogacy to become father.
Johar’s move to opt surrogacy had come at come at a time as the draft surrogacy Bill which was cleared by the Union Cabinet in August 2016, has not been passed as law yet.

Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan and his second wife Kiran Rao has also opted for surrogacy for the birth of their son Aazad Rao Khan in 2011.Soon after their marriage, Kiran suffered a miscarriage which left the couple disheartened for a while, after which the couple opted for surrogacy.
