Five actors who are rumoured to plunge into ‘ring of politics’

Kareena Kapoor recently made headlines not for her proficiency in the big screen but for rumours speculating that the 38-year-old actor will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections for Congress from Bhopal. Although the 'Veeri Di Wedding' has quashed all the politics rumours, actors, sportsman and other celebrated individuals having a change of profession, particularly politics is no new subject. We have seen veteran actors like Shatrughan Sinha, Anupam Kher wife Kiron Kher, Rajinikanth establish a seat in the political ring. This hence makes fans questions, if we will soon see new faces in the 2019 election.
Apart from Kareena Kapoor, there have also been other actors who were hinted to join politics. Below are the name of the five actors:
Kareena Kapoor: Just last week rumours float around social media that the Begum of Pataudi will be contesting for Lok Sabha elections for Congress from Bhopal.
Akshay Kumar: Another actor to get entangled in the speculations of politics was the 'Khiladi' himself. According to rumours, the Padman actor may contest a Lok Sabha seat from Punjab or Delhi.
Salman Khan: The Dabangg star is another actor who was speculated to join politics. As per the rumours, the Kick actor may contest the Lok Sabha elections from Indore as a Congress candidate.
Madhuri Dixit: Bollywood’s dance queen was also another name rumoured to soon take a leap into politics. The rumours hinted that the veteran actor will be among those to contest the Lok Sabha Elections.
Nana Patekar: Although no blatant statement have been given out suggesting that the talented actor might contest the elections, the actor himself have shown interest in the field of politics. The actor has unabashedly spoke up about whom he wants to see in the next elections as the PM. The 67-year-old actor also talked about his disenchantment with the BJP, the farmers plights and spoke at length on various issues that the country is facing.
