Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma throwed a luxurious wedding reception on Thursday in New Delhi. The couple recently tied knot in a big-fat Indian wedding ceremony held in Italy in presence of family and some close friends. The wedding reception was attended by many celebrities including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom the couple invited personally.

On the other hand, the bride looked beautiful in traditional red-coloured saree. It was Benarasi saree complemented with an uncut diamond choker. Even, red-bindi, the sindoor and the mogra gajra-adorned bun in her hair added to her beauty. (screenshot from video)

The designer Sabyasachi even shared few pictures of the wedding reception on its Instagram handle and captioned it “I don’t think Indian brides feel complete without wearing the colour red in one of their functions. Anushka decided to wear red on her reception. And much to my absolute delight, it would be a red Benarasi saree. From the by-lanes of Peeli Kothi in Benaras. I was particularly excited about this look because I have seen an entire generation of Bengali women getting married in red Benarasi sarees. The red bindi, the sindoor and the mogras in her hair just made the look more potent and powerful. After the photo session was over, the newly-weds didn’t took much time and rushed towards the dance floor and showcase their dancing skills. The couple will host another reception in Mumbai on December 26 and the it is speculated that many Bollywood celebrities will be on the guest list from Bollywood and cricket fraternity.
