The Ambani wedding is the talk of the tinsel town. The couple has been making headlines, ever since they exchanged rings on June 30, 2018. After a grand pre-wedding celebration in Switzerland, the family hosted Anna Seva on March 6.
On March 6, 2019, the family has organised the Anna Seva to seek blessings for the upcoming wedding of their son. On this occasion, the Ambanis and Mehtas served dinner to 2,000 children from various NGOs at Jio World Centre.
The Anna Seva will continue till March 13 in all the orphanages and old age homes in the city. As part of the programme, the Ambanis will supply groceries to all the orphanages and old age homes in the city for a year.
Prior to beginning the 'Anna Seva', Nita Ambani also inaugurated the Dhirubhai Ambani Square at Jio World Centre in Bandra.
The power couple, Akash and Shloka arrived at the venue all decked up in traditional ensembles.
The 'Anna Seva' has become a sort of tradition for the family. A similar function was organised in Udaipur in December before daughter Isha's wedding to Anand Piramal.
A special musical fountain programme was organised at the Dhirubhai Ambani Square to commemorate the contribution of the police, military and para-military forces, firemen, BMC workers, and many others who keep this great city safe and going 24x7.
