Diwali- the festival of lights, is celebrated all over india with enthusiasm. Like all festivals, Diwali also has delicacies associated to it. Jalebi is the most important sweet of the festival. Gulab jamun: Soft mawa balls dipped in syrup, Gulab jamun, is almost everyone's favourite. You need to knead mawa with cornflour and add a stuffing of dry fruits in it. Deep fry the mawa balls, and then soak them in sugar syrup.
Jalebi: Jalebi is used in Diwali pooja. In a bowl, prepare a batter of cornflour (1 cup), gram flour (2 tbsp), a pinch of baking soda and 1/8 tsp turmeric powder. Pour the batter in a pan with oil for deep fry, using a squezy bottle. Make your favourite patterns with the bottle. Take out the crispy jalebis and dip them in sugar syrup.
Chakli: Make a batter of rice flour, gram flour, carom seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida and salt. Put the batter in chakli maker, take out the chakli and deep fry it.

In a pan, heat nuts with ghee and add coconut and milk to it. Cook the mixture till all the moisture evaporates. Wait for the mixture to get cool and tyhen prepare its ladoos.
Papdi chaat: The mouth-watering snack is very easy to prepare. Take crisp papdis in plate. Add pieces of boiled potato, coriander leaves, salt, chilli powder, chat masal to it. Put curd, coriander chatni and tamarind chatni on it.
