Destiny came around on Monday when in an awkward moment Miss Columbia was crowned Miss Universe 2015 for few minutes before finally giving away the crown to Miss Philippines- a moment which took the social media platforms by storm.

Miss Philippines gave a statement saying that “it was a very non-traditional crowning moment."
The Big Moment
This was before any of the two- Miss Columbia and Philippines were announced as Miss Universe.
Winner declared
Then Miss Columbia name was announced as winner of Miss Universe 2015.
Pride moment!
Miss Columbia Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo was seen basking in the glory of the win.
Shocking turn!
However, soon her moment of fame vanished as host Steve Harvey announced that Miss Philippines was the real winner.
Untraditional crowning!
And, the crown was set to be placed on Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
New Winner declared
Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega took the crown off Miss Colombia’s head and placed it on Miss Philippines', just as the broadcast was ending.
The graceful moment!
Wurtzbach appeared at a loss of what to do but returned with poise and waved to the crowd.
Miss Universe 2015 named!
Stunned, she walked to the front of the stage, where the coveted crown was taken off the head of Miss Colombia and put on hers.
The real mistake!
Host Steve Harvey who actually committed the mistake. Later, he tweeted, "I'd like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible."
