Priyanka Gandhi holds mega roadshow in Fatehpur, criticises Modi-led BJP government over false promises

A day after the overwhelming success of her Ghaziabad roadshow, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday hold yet another mega roadshow at Fatehpur in central Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka was in the city to campaign in support of former Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and party candidate Rakesh Sachan ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Fatehpur will go to polls in the fifth phase of the seven-tiered General Elections on May 6. Addressing a roadside meeting during her roadshow, Priyanka slammed the Narendra Modi-led BJP government for discriminating among martyrs. In a scathing attack at the Centre, she said the government had made many promises in the run-up to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections but none of the promises had been fulfilled. In the light of these failures of the BJP administration, the younger Gandhi urged voters to elect the right candidate who will look after their welfare and development.

People in large number thronged the roads of Fatehpur to catch a glimpse of Priyanka and showered flower petals on her with raising pro-Congress slogans.
