Prime Minister Narendra Modi is already in his home state Gujarat to cast his vote. PM Modi met his mother Heeraben at her residence in Gandhinagar in early morning hours on Tuesday. A red gota chunri was also seen in PM Modi’s hands gifted by his mother. The PM also cast his vote in Ranip. PM Modi is close to his mother, whom he visits whenever he's in Gujarat. Among the prominent candidates for Phase 3 Lok Sabha elections 2019 are the presidents of the two main political parties, BJP chief Amit Shah making his Lok Sabha election debut from Gandhinagar in Gujarat and Congress president Rahul Gandhi contesting from Wayanad in Kerala.
