Kumbh 2019: CMYogi Adityanath visits Prayagraj to review preparations

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday visited Prayagraj to review preparations related to Kumbh 2019. He offered prayers at Bade Hanuman temple, situated on the banks of River Ganga. Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Urban Development Minister Suresh Khanna, Health Minister Siddharth Nath Singh, Prayagraj Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi, Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) president Narendra Giri, and Yoga Guru Swami Anand Giri were present with the Chief Minister during his visit to the holy city.
He unfurled religious flags of three akharas and then inspected Badaa Udasin Akhara, Mahanirvaan Akhara, Atal Akhara, Anand Akhara, Juna Akhara and others with saints and seniors officials.
CM Yogi inaugurated special shuttle bus services for the pilgrims in the city. The buses will ferry them from the parking area to the Mela area free of cost.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed life jackets to 76 sailors. In order to motivate divers, the chief minister had direct interaction with them.
He also reviewed security arrangement and development work ahead of Kumbh, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.
