Michael Phelps is a swimming sensationand regarded as 'the greatest Olympian of all time'. At the age of 15 became youngest American to participate in Olympics games in 68 years. In 2004 Athens Olympics he achieved 6 gold and 2 bronze medals. In Bejing 2008 he displayed astonishing performance when he won all the eight events he competed in. In 2008 in Beijing he won all eight of the events he competed in. In Phelps' last appearance at the 2012 Olympics; he won four golds and two silver, leaving him with a tally of 22 Olympic medals (18 of them gold).

Latynina made her Olympic debut at the age of 21 in 1956 Melbourne Games. She is regarded as the most successful gymnast in the history of the games. Latynina’s incredible achievements make her the holder of several Olympic records. Until Michael Phelps broke her record in London, she was the only athlete in any sport to have won eighteen Olympic medals.

He won a total of 13 medals which includes seven gold medals at the Summer Olympics, His achievement of seven gold, four silver, and two bronze Olympic medals placed him among the most-decorated at the games. He was the most successful athlete at the 1960 Summer Olympics.

Edoardo Mangiarotti was an Italian fencer. He has the record for winning more Olympic titles and World championships than any other fencer in the history of the sport. He won with 21 titles including six Olympic individual and team gold, five silver and two bronze medals from 1936 to 1960.

Takashi Ono is a retired Japanese gymnast. He competed from 1952 to 1964 Olympics and won five gold, four silver and four bronze medals. He was the flag bearer for Japan at the 1960 Olympics, and took the Olympic Oath at the 1964 Games. At Olympic Games in Melbourne, Takashi Ono won his first Olympic title on the horizontal bar. In 1998 he was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
