Top notch tennis players are suffering from continuous injuries nowadays. Tennis aces are playing through pain and consistently breaking down in major tournaments. The greatest name in this list is that of Swiss sensation Roger Federer. Federer scripted history in July when he became the first man to win 8 Men’s singles titles in Wimbledon. The 19-time Grand slam champion was defeated by Alexander Zverev in the final of the Rogers Cup on Monday. Concerns were raised on Federer’s fitness as Zverev defeated him 6-3, 6-4. With the US Open just two weeks away, any injury would come as a huge blow to the Swiss, who has already won the Australian Open and Wimbledon in a stunning 2017 season.

Injuries troubled the Asian No. 1 in 2009 as well. He was on course to defeat Nadal for the Mutua Madrid Open this year, but had to withdraw during the final set.
