The opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick off with defending champions Mumbai Indians and two-time champions Chennai Super Kings on April 7 in Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium. Earlier, the inaugural ceremony was scheduled on April 6, with the first match on April 7. The CSK team is returning to the league after a two-year suspension imposed on it. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Suresh Raina is an IPL legend who has played the most number of Indian Premier Leauge matches (161) and runs (4540) at an excellent strike-rate of 139.09. In IPL 2018, Raina will be seen playing for Chennai Super Kings. Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli comes second in terms of runs scored.
