iPhone is a smartphone series developed and designed by Apple, which runs on the company’s indigenous operating system iOS. Apple is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary. On the occasion the company is believed to launch iPhone X in addition to iPhone 7S, 7S Plus and iPhone 8. The company had launched its first smartphone on June 29, 2007, with the name iPhone in 2007. The phone featured quad-band GSM cellular connectivity with GPRS and EDGE support. Since the release of its first smartphone, Apple has released 10 generations of iPhone models and each released with the iOS system.

Steve Jobs while releasing the first iPhone had said, “Apple is going to reinvent the phone.” The phone had no third-party apps, no GPS and no video recording. The phone had a touchscreen keypad and advanced computer-like capabilities never seen in mobile before.
